Teaching Opportunity in a Welcoming School Environment

A reputable primary school in South East London is seeking a dedicated Year 1 class teacher to provide high-quality education and care to students. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, strong behaviour management skills, and the ability to differentiate content for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The school prioritizes student wellbeing and ensures that all children feel happy and supported. The successful candidate will have access to weekly Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time to plan and prepare engaging lessons, and will be supported by a dedicated teaching assistant.

The successful candidate will have:

  • UK qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Recent teaching experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to differentiate content for pupils with SEND
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Proficiency in using formative and summative assessments to maximise pupil progress
