Private Client Tax Manager

Reed Practice is partnering with an esteemed Accountancy Practice to find a highly skilled Private Client Tax Manager to join their experienced team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Tax professionals across multiple locations, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to the Tax Team, including supervision of junior staff.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring timely completion of the tax compliance cycle.
  • Prepare and review Self Assessment Tax Returns to meet internal, client, and statutory deadlines.
  • Conduct tax advisory projects as required.
  • Accurately complete timesheets daily and review selected tax team timesheets weekly.
Key Skills:
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and training junior staff.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and tax legislation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in liaising with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in tax software and systems, with experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
