Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Meal Preparation and Feeding: Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met and promoting a positive dining experience for our residents.
  • Emotional Support and Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Health Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing staff, ensuring prompt attention and care.
  • Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Leadership and Team Support: Lead and support junior care staff in day-to-day tasks, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Level 2 in Health and Social Care or above.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a Senior Healthcare Assistant role, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional care and support.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
