Job Description

Job Title: Examinations Officer

Job Summary:

The Examinations Officer is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of internal and external examinations. This position requires a high level of expertise in examination regulations, procedures, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Organisation:
    • Understand and comply with all examination regulations and requirements
    • Manage the safe and secure receipt, checking, and storage of examination papers and materials
    • Contribute to the development and review of examination-related policies
  • Exam Management:
    • Liaise with department heads, teachers, students, and parents regarding examination matters
    • Provide information on examination matters as required
    • Ensure the collection and communication of examination results to students
  • Results and Data Management:
    • Make arrangements for sharing results with students
    • Ensure results are received and stored securely and confidentially
    • Be familiar with data analysis reports and tools, and share results data with stakeholders as appropriate
  • Training and Development:
    • Undertake training as required for the role
    • Be familiar with training opportunities for other staff members involved in examinations
Requirements:
  • Expertise in examination regulations and procedures
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
