We have a strong focus on creating an environment where our pupils can aspire and succeed in their learning, flourishing into lifelong learners.
About the Role: As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment. Your duties will include:
- Developing and implementing engaging play activities that promote learning and development.
- Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health, and safety standards are met.
- Setting up the play space, including moving furniture and play equipment.
- Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.
- Updating the children's learning journal on a daily basis with any relevant information.
- Working within the framework of the nursery's policies and procedures, and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Developing and maintaining good communication with all members of the preschool and parents.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare.
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
- Experience of the EYFS and using it within a nursery setting.
