About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Investigation Engineer to join our national ground investigation team based in Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations, primarily in the north of England and occasionally across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations, including logging of soil and rock to BS5930, supervision of site works, and groundwater and ground gas monitoring.
  • Oversee site works of varying size across a range of environments, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Produce clear, concise factual reports and maintain accurate records of site investigations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Geology or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in ground investigation, including logging, supervision, and monitoring.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management as applied to ground investigation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A full, clean driving license and willingness to spend most of your time on site within the north of England.
