About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Manager to join our team at Haslam Park primary school. As a key member of our school community, you will be responsible for the overall management of our catering operation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency in our food service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the catering service to meet the needs of our students and staff
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and ordering
  • Develop and implement menus that meet dietary requirements and preferences
  • Supervise and train catering staff to ensure excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with school administrators to ensure seamless integration with school operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in catering management, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Flexibility to work term-time only, 32.5 hours per week
