About the Role
Leicestershire County Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Team Leader to join our team at the Martin Jackaman Centre.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient running of the Centre, managing and supervising Care Workers to ensure the delivery of safe, appropriate, and high-quality personalized care and support for our citizens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, manage, monitor, and directly observe the practice of Care Workers
- Ensure each citizen has an up-to-date care plan, reviewed regularly, and their needs are met in line with all relevant codes of practice
- Overall responsibility for the coordination of staff, ensuring sufficient numbers of suitable staff to cover duty rotas
- Previous experience working in a social care setting, ideally supporting citizens with Learning Disabilities and/or experience supporting citizens who exhibit behaviors that challenge
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience working in a social care setting
