About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conservation Operations Manager to join our team at Norfolk Wildlife Trust. As a key member of our conservation team, you will play a vital role in driving efficiency and best practice across our practical conservation work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work across the full extent of NWT's land holdings to deliver high-quality conservation outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective machinery operation and maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support to the conservation team, including data management and reporting.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement conservation plans and projects.
  • Operate and maintain a range of equipment, including tractors, 360 excavators, tracked dumpers, chainsaws, and brushcutters.
Requirements
  • Good working knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of and interest in wildlife conservation and practical land management.
  • Experience and qualifications in the use of equipment such as tractors, 360 excavators, tracked dumpers, chainsaws, and brushcutters.
  • Excellent administrative support capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
