We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conservation Operations Manager to join our team at Norfolk Wildlife Trust. As a key member of our conservation team, you will play a vital role in driving efficiency and best practice across our practical conservation work.
Key Responsibilities- Work across the full extent of NWT's land holdings to deliver high-quality conservation outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective machinery operation and maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Provide administrative support to the conservation team, including data management and reporting.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement conservation plans and projects.
- Operate and maintain a range of equipment, including tractors, 360 excavators, tracked dumpers, chainsaws, and brushcutters.
- Good working knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of and interest in wildlife conservation and practical land management.
- Experience and qualifications in the use of equipment such as tractors, 360 excavators, tracked dumpers, chainsaws, and brushcutters.
- Excellent administrative support capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
