Overview: Our client, a prominent organization in the facilities management sector, is seeking a dedicated Building Facilities Engineer to join their team. This role offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with competitive compensation.

Position Type: This is a temporary to permanent position, allowing for a transition to a full-time role after an initial period.

Role Responsibilities: The Facilities Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of all engineering services on-site. Working within a dynamic and supportive engineering team, the successful candidate will focus on:

  • Ensuring the seamless operation of all site services, including HVAC, water systems, and temperature controls, to prevent any disruptions to production.
  • Coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities in alignment with production needs.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date engineering database, ensuring all contractors meet compliance standards and that relevant data is accurately recorded.
  • Managing the Planned Maintenance system and Building Management System (BMS), while keeping the equipment database current.
  • Utilizing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with the organization’s operational excellence goals.
