Our Northern Ireland Office, located in Belfast, boasts a workforce of over 200 professionals and has been delivering services to the UK and Ireland for the past 70 years. As a leading multidisciplinary consultancy in Ireland, we are engaged in numerous high-profile projects in Planning, Structural and Fire Engineering, Water, Waste, Transport, Project Management, and Environmental sectors, necessitating innovative and driven personnel.

About the Role:

  • The position entails collaborating within a team to provide comprehensive structural engineering design services for a variety of development projects, particularly in Commercial and Industrial sectors;
  • Coordinating with structural technicians to translate designs into detailed drawings;
  • Designing structural components using concrete, steel, timber, and masonry;
  • Collaborating with senior team members in the technical execution of projects;
  • Receiving mentorship for all facets of your role;
  • Engaging with other Design team members and participating in meetings;
  • Excellent prospects for career advancement;
  • Conducting site visits for inspection duties;
  • Preparing reports as needed;

About You:

  • MEng / BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a focus on Architecture;
  • Proficient in Computational Structural Analysis software (e.g., Masterseries, Orion, Tedds or similar);
  • Familiarity with BIM and 3D Modelling Software (Revit) for drafting;
  • Understanding of UK design codes, Euro codes, and specifications;
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team;
  • Commitment to Continuous Professional Development and progress towards Chartership;
  • Eagerness to learn;
  • Valid UK driving licence.

Desirable :

  • Chartered Engineer status, member of IStructE or ICE.
