Driver Hire Reading is seeking a qualified Class 2 HIAB driver to join our reputable client in the builders merchant sector.

This position offers a consistent schedule, operating Monday through Friday, with a start time of 7am.

The role encompasses various duties, primarily involving transportation from the depot to multiple sites for the delivery and collection of construction materials. The use of a HIAB crane equipped with Remote and Grab for efficient loading and unloading is essential.

Compensation:
- £25.00 per hour for standard hours, inclusive of advanced holiday pay.
- £28.00 per hour for overtime, also inclusive of advanced holiday pay.
A minimum of 8 hours pay is guaranteed per shift.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a full and valid UK driving licence.
  • A maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
  • Valid CPC and digital tachograph cards.
  • Current HIAB certification (with Remote and Grab capability).
  • References available from similar positions.
