About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager to join our team in Manchester City Centre. As a key member of our Senior Leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the audit business, mentoring and supporting the wider audit team, and contributing to the continued growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the audit business, ensuring high-quality service delivery to a broad and technically challenging portfolio of clients.
  • Mentor and support the wider audit team, providing guidance and development opportunities to help them grow and succeed.
  • Contribute to the development of the firm's audit strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Manage budgets, fees, and WIP, ensuring effective financial management and control.
  • Lead internal projects related to regulation updates, staff training, and other initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including clients, colleagues, and senior leadership.
Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA qualified with RI status or ambition to become an RI.
  • Proven track record of strong service delivery to a broad and technically challenging portfolio of clients.
  • Experience of recruiting, supporting, and developing a team.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and senior leadership.
