About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer to join our team at Endeavor. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Events and Media divisions by providing commercially sound advice on legal issues related to commercial and revenue-generating opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide commercially sound advice on legal issues related to commercial and revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Work proactively with the legal team to ensure best practice and knowledge is understood, shared, and utilized amongst the team.
  • Advise clients on terms that are as robust and favorable as possible to the Company.
  • Liaise with the business to ensure commercial, pragmatic, and salient advice and guidance on business opportunities and risk are followed at all times.
  • Work proactively and closely with the business to ensure colleagues are aware of the importance of involving the Legal team at the outset in any commercial opportunity or discussion.
  • Assist with new projects as and when they arise.
Requirements
  • Experience of drafting general commercial contracts.
  • Worked in a commercial environment.
  • Training in top-tier legal practice.
  • Fully qualified Solicitor.
  • 2-7 years PQE.
  • The ability to assimilate and understand salient points of commercial opportunities with both speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and spoken English with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize a varied and heavy workload with the ability to plan ahead.
  • Able to work to deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely with clients of all levels both internally and externally.
  • Team-oriented and focused.
  • Ability to develop rapport with immediate and wider colleagues.
  • Disciplined, hard-working, and committed.
  • An enthusiasm for and interest in sport, media, and entertainment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience of drafting media rights/production, sponsorship, supplier, agency representation, and venue hire contracts.
  • Experience of working with cultural and sports organizations.
  • Experience of working with high-level executives in own and client/customer organizations.
  • Has an interest in sport, media, and live events.
