Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team at Colas Ltd. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement of subcontract packages, maintaining project forecasts, and providing commercial advice to the team.

• Manage the procurement of subcontract packages and maintain project forecasts
• Provide commercial advice to the team and be involved in the preparation and submission of final accounts
• Prepare quotations and Bills of Quantities from drawings, ensuring timely receipt of monies by efficient invoicing and collection of all debts
• Support the commercial team and be flexible to support other areas when required

• HND in Civil Engineering or similar
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor with demonstrable evidence of relevant civils and highways post-degree experience
• Previous experience of highway projects as a QS with measurement experience
• Contract knowledge, specifically NEC 3 and 4 would be advantageous

• A salary between £40,000 and £50,000 (dependent on experience)
