Job Summary

Steer Automotive Group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Apprentice VDA to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our accident repair team, you will be responsible for assessing and repairing vehicle damage, working closely with our experienced technicians and mentors to develop your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose vehicle damage, identifying areas that require repair or replacement
  • Work under direct supervision to achieve full competence and qualification
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of vehicle safety systems and industry guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with customers, insurance companies, and colleagues to discuss damage and repairs
  • Assess the cost and duration of repairs, using industry proprietary guides and estimating software

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • Willing to work Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm
  • Commitment to completing a 3-year apprenticeship
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry (desirable)
  • Grade 4 or above in Maths and English
