Job Title: Application Architect
Job Summary:
Axiom Software Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Application Architect to lead the design and implementation of our application and data observability platform. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, data observability, and software development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a single pane view of application and data observability across the bank
- Reduce technology landscape by consolidating multiple tools for the same use case
- Improve issue resolution time by providing real-time visibility into application and data performance
- Develop and maintain architecture proposals for CIO-level approval
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to consolidate use cases and create clear documentation
- Create business cases to demonstrate value and cost savings for adopting a single application and data observability approach
Requirements:
- Indepth experience and knowledge of data observability, including logs, metrics, traces, and data pipeline users and usage
- Experience with application observability tools, such as Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, and Open Telemetry
- Knowledge of data observability landscape in the market, including Acceldata, IBM DataBand, Monte Carlo, and Collibra
- Understanding of data pipelines (batch and streaming) using different technologies, such as Kafka, Spark, Hive, Big Query, and GCS
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders to consolidate use cases and create clear documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud architecture experience
- Software development experience
- Experience with data observability tools and technologies
