Job Description

Job Title: Fabric Engineer - Maintenance Specialist

Company: CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd

Location: South West London

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 17:00pm

Package: 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, overtime available, tablet and work phone provided, full company uniform

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver excellent customer service and undertake basic fabric duties, including touching up paint work, tightening hinges, installing/repairing blinds, changing locks, making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and assembling small equipment
  • Undertake plumbing activities, including clearing blockages, attending to burst pipes, replacing components, servicing systems, and painting and decorating
  • Assist with office moves, including furniture movers, and liaise with the contract management team
  • Investigate complaints and take appropriate action, ensuring feedback is provided to the helpdesk on the progress of M&E jobs
  • Carry out specialist technical and non-technical work as deemed appropriate to the continuing maintenance function on the client portfolio
  • Offer technical support and backup as required, ensuring all personnel and contractors take safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury, and prevent damage to equipment
  • Use all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works
  • Ensure the client receives the highest level of service to their assets by carrying out reactive and planned maintenance, minor improvements, and ensuring jobs are completed to a high standard
  • Assist Multi-Skilled Engineers where required
Requirements:
  • Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
