Job Title: Pipe Installation Specialist

Location: On-Site

Salary: £34,640 (Shift allowance of 33% may be applicable)

Role Overview:

As a Pipe Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all pipework systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards. Your role will involve:

  • Implementing safe working practices throughout all tasks
  • Interpreting and working from mechanical pipe schematics
  • Fabricating pipes ranging from 8mm to 323mm using various materials
  • Setting up wiring and connecting to boards
  • Executing brazing techniques, both silver and soft solder, to class 1 standards
  • Conducting tests on completed pipework
  • Installing pipe systems across diverse applications

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of pipework systems, materials, and components, including connectors and fastenings
  • Thorough understanding of domestic plumbing systems in a maritime context, including installation and removal

Desirable:

  • Experience in welding (TIG, MMA) is advantageous but not mandatory; familiarity with composite pipework is also beneficial
