Job Description:

The Role:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Service and maintain machinery from leading franchises, adhering to manufacturer specifications for reliability and safety.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and other faults, utilizing diagnostic software and technical expertise.
  • Complete detailed reports of work completed, including supporting photographs and documentation of all worked hours.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and experience with various machinery, preferably in the agricultural, commercial vehicle, or construction industries.
  • Ability to interact with customers, build relationships, and ensure a positive experience.
  • Effective internal and external communication skills to facilitate planning and ongoing work.
  • Must hold a full driving license and be able to operate machinery on-site for testing purposes.
Working Hours:
  • Monday – Thursday, 8 am – 5 pm and Friday, 8 am – 4 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break (basic 39-hour working week).
  • Overtime available (Monday-Saturday at time and a half, Sunday at double time, and bank holiday Monday at double time & day in lieu).
  • Some weekend work may be required, especially during peak harvest seasons.
  • Holiday entitlement: 24 days per year plus bank holidays.
  • Pension: 3% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution.
  • Life Assurance, including dependent's pension.
  • A dedicated Service Van.
  • Ongoing training as required.
