Senior Pricing Analyst

The Opportunity:
As a key member of the Meridian Business Support team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing pricing strategies for our global product lines. You will analyze and report on the results of pricing decisions, utilizing our in-house business intelligence tool to drive informed decision-making. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze cost price movements and identify new price/volume opportunities to communicate to global markets.
2. Understand the impact of pricing on DVP and perform financial evaluations to assess pricing action effectiveness.
3. Take ownership of selling price/DVP per market, versus budget.
4. Maintain and regularly update a pricing history database.
5. Manage the function of the department and oversee a small team.

You'll be able to offer:

1. Proven experience at a senior level of financial analysis.
2. Experience of Strategic Price Scenario Modelling.
3. Strategic thinker with strong business analytic skill sets, including strong Excel and data modelling skills.
4. Strong Transactional SQL skills.
5. Excellent communication (written and oral) and be comfortable presenting to senior management.
6. Degree or equivalent qualified preferably in a financial/statistical related subject.

Working Hours:
9-5.15 Monday to Friday - Hybrid working available, currently 2 days in the office, 3 from home if required.
