Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Philosophy Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As a Philosophy Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Philosophy to students at KS3/4 with the possibility of KS5.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be appointed on a part-time or full-time basis to work in a faculty of highly experienced specialist teachers. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject, a PGCE or QTS, and experience working as a Philosophy Teacher in a Secondary School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Philosophy to students at KS3/4 with the possibility of KS5
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of all students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the teaching of Philosophy
