About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Package Lead to join our team at ICDS Group. As a key member of our MEP construction team, you will be responsible for leading mechanical activities on site, ensuring they are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align mechanical activities with project requirements, prioritizing health and safety at all times.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety awareness among all stakeholders.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies.
  • Track mechanical system installation to ensure compliance with specification and program needs.
  • Develop and implement project-specific commissioning plans.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure mechanical, BAS/BMS, MEP, and CSA works meet relevant requirements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure rooms and areas meet CSA and MEP quality standards.
  • Manage contractors and vendors to ensure successful completion of works.
  • Review and optimize the master construction schedule to enhance program delivery.
  • Chair and participate in onsite and offsite meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Issue weekly progress and costs reports as required.
  • Manage sub-contractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.
Requirements
  • 3rd Level Building Services/Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background.
  • Minimum 3 years plus experience in a site-based MEP role.
  • Experience working on hyperscale Data Centres.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and work part of a high-performance team.
