About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Accountancy team as a Graduate Programme trainee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing accountancy services to our clients, including year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns, and cloud accounting software support.

You will work closely with our clients and their finance teams or bookkeepers, helping them with their financial needs and providing expert advice and solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop your skills in accountancy and business advisory services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide accountancy services to clients, including year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns, and cloud accounting software support.
  • Work closely with clients and their finance teams or bookkeepers to understand their financial needs and provide expert advice and solutions.
  • Develop an understanding of our clients and their businesses, including their financial performance and goals.
  • Keep your manager fully informed of any issues or problems, ensuring the work is completed to a high standard and recording clearly and concisely the work carried out.
  • Become familiar with our accounting software and use it to provide efficient and effective services to clients.
  • Resolve queries of an accountancy nature and provide expert advice and solutions to clients.
Requirements
  • Be committed to completing the Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification, on a Level 7 apprenticeship.
  • Have obtained or be predicted a minimum 2:2 degree, in any discipline.
  • A Level: Minimum 112 UCAS points in top three A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies.
  • GCSE: Minimum Grade 5 (or equivalent), in English Language and Maths respectively.
