Job Title: Lead Podiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Podiatrist to join our team in Buckinghamshire. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop our Advanced MSK clinic and lead the podiatry MSK service in primary and secondary settings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional and clinical leadership on the strategic development, planning, and operational delivery of the podiatry MSK service.
  • Deliver evidence-based podiatry interventions and advice to reduce the need for acute interventions and promote patient mobility and independence.
  • Work closely with the Head of Service, other Podiatry Leads, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a high-quality and equitable service across the county.
  • Develop treatment planning, off-loading, and risk prevention strategies for high-risk patients in collaboration with the Musculoskeletal High-Risk Lead and Rheumatology Lead.
Requirements:
  • B Sc (Hons) with Local Anaesthesia Certificate
  • Diploma level Specialist training or equivalent
  • Evidence of CPD and postgraduate training
  • Member of the Royal College of Podiatrists
  • Experience of leadership and management

  • Competitive salary: £46,148 to £52,809 per annum pro rata
