Job Title: Agile Java Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team at VASS UK&I. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, robust, and efficient software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications.
  • Collaborate with software architects, product managers, and other developers to design software solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Work with databases, RESTful APIs, and integrate third-party services.
  • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Document development processes, software designs, and code as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven over 8 years job experience as a Java Developer of experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
