About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, support, and care of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work effectively as a member of the staff team to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • Support service users in their daily lives, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Contribute to the planning, delivery, and review of care plans, ensuring individual needs are met.
  • Act as an enabler, supporting service users to make their own decisions and choices.
  • Provide emotional and practical support, maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Enable service users to access community facilities and participate in therapeutic activities.
  • Maintain a comfortable and relaxed environment, undertaking household duties as needed.
  • Complete administrative tasks, adhering to organisational guidelines.
  • Participate in staff appraisals, supervisions, and team meetings.
  • Undertake training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements

Working Arrangements

This role requires flexibility, including working weekends, evenings, and sleep-in duties. You will be required to work at various locations, including our service user's homes and community settings.
