  1. Develop and implement project management programmes, detailing project scope, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the project, coordinating with various stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
  3. Manage and monitor project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial objectives are met.
  4. Conduct regular progress evaluations and feasibility studies, identifying potential issues and developing solutions to keep the project on track.
  5. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards, maintaining high-quality outputs throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Facilitate effective communication between all project teams and departments, ensuring alignment and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

  1. Demonstrated experience leading large-scale commercial projects exceeding £20 million as the primary project manager, with a consistent and stable career history within Tier 1 contractors.
  2. Extensive experience within the life sciences sector is essential, as this role involves managing the construction of highly specialised facilities. A deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements associated with life sciences projects, including laboratory environments, cleanrooms, and research spaces, is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of this project.
  3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, site management, and health and safety regulations.
  4. Relevant qualifications including SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme), First Aid certification, and an NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or a related field.
