Location: NHS National Services Scotland
This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a Locum Consultant Ophthalmologist who possesses a keen interest in oculoplastic procedures. The position is set within a dynamic and expanding Ophthalmology department.
Departmental StructureThe department is dedicated to delivering a comprehensive Ophthalmology service across the region. Outpatient services are conducted at multiple facilities, while elective surgeries and inpatient care are primarily centralized.
Team CompositionThe successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes:
- 10 Consultants
- 1 Associate Specialist
- 2 Specialty Doctors
- 5 Specialist Trainees
This position is offered on a full-time basis, structured around a 10 PA framework, which may include up to 2 non-direct clinical care sessions. Candidates interested in part-time arrangements are also encouraged to apply.
