We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Project Manager to join our team at Complete Talent Services Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of project managers to deliver high-level nuclear projects. A strong leadership and technical background is essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable background in a lead/senior project management capacity with strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps/valves/motors) and experience dealing with nuclear projects.

Candidates may be required to travel to supplier sites internationally, so a willingness to travel is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for nuclear projects
  • Responsible for the overall execution of projects, including safety, quality, delivery, and cost, following business standards and procedures
  • Lead nuclear projects risk profile and identify and incorporate lessons learned
  • Review and approve monthly progress reports and schedule updates
  • Write proposals for variations and negotiate with clients
  • Ensure project milestones and goals are met
  • Organise and attend internal and external meetings as required
  • Coach and mentor project team members and identify suitable further training
  • Actively seek business development opportunities in the nuclear sector
  • Improve processes and procedures within the project and suggest adaptations for broader business use

Requirements:

  • Strong background in a lead or senior project management role
  • Demonstrable technical background with knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps/valves/motors)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Qualified to a minimum HNC level within a relevant engineering discipline
  • Strong commercial knowledge
  • Prince 2 or similar qualification preferred
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel as required
