About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of goods and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and collect goods from our distribution centre and deliver them to customers across the country in a company-provided Luton Van.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers, ensuring that goods are left in a secure and safe location.
  • Take responsibility for the efficient running of the warehouse, including Goods In, Goods Out, Pack Build, Goods Assembly, Returns, and Stock Control.
  • Support on other tasks as required, such as vehicle pick-ups, vehicle maintenance, cleaning/servicing equipment, and checking inventory.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution centre environment.
  • Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving and warehouse role.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and 'can-do' attitude.
  • Computer literate and able to use warehouse management systems.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points.
  • Experience driving and operating a 3.5-ton Luton Van, ideally in a customer-facing role.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £26,000 basic salary, plus London weighting if applicable.
  • A £2,500 annual bonus based on KPIs.
  • Shares in Octopus Energy Group.
