About the Role

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Solutions Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, engineering, and maintaining cloud-based solutions in Azure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions in Azure, ensuring compliance with FCA's governance policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
  • Implement and maintain conditional access policies to ensure security and compliance across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards to monitor compliance, optimize infrastructure services, and ensure high availability.
  • Utilize Kusto Query Language (KQL) to extract relevant data and generate visual workbooks for analysis and reporting.
  • Build and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for Azure resources, mapping dependencies to ensure accurate asset management and resource tracking.
  • Collaborate with Azure stakeholders to develop and manage Azure budgets and set up cost alerts.
  • Optimize the Azure platform to enhance performance, security, and cost-efficiency, leveraging automation to enhance efficiency, speed up processes, and reduce manual intervention.
  • Collaborate with the Resiliency Team to develop, implement, and regularly test disaster recovery plans for Azure resources, ensuring data integrity and service continuity.
