Job Title: Automotive Marketing Manager

Location: Telford

Type: Permanent

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week - hybrid working available after probation

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing company in Telford as a Group Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading marketing support for one of their brands globally and assisting the rest of the team with marketing for other manufactured brands and global sales divisions as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement marketing strategies to support brand growth and sales objectives.
  2. Work closely with the wider team to lead all online and offline marketing for each brand.
  3. Help develop the marketing strategy and tactical plans for all brands and divisions in line with company objectives.
  4. Customer profiling - creating buyer personas for all brands and identifying messages and approaches which will resonate with each audience.
  5. Ensure data and customer insights are implemented into campaigns/working practice.
  6. Oversee, support and develop the current Marketing Coordinator.
  7. Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  8. Create written and visual content for a wide range of marketing materials (online and offline).
  9. Oversee the company's marketing budget for all brands and UK sales divisions.
  10. Brand management and use of corporate identity for all manufactured brands.
  11. Analyse potential strategic partner relationships and plan and oversee production of filmed content and CGI as required.
  12. Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the marketing mix used by competitors.
  13. Proof-read.
  14. Ideal qualifications include English language GCSE grade B or above and Maths grade C or above. A marketing qualification including CIM or CIPR Diploma / Professional Certificate Level 5/6 is desirable.
  15. Data analysis and reporting.
  16. Project management - from planning through to implementation.
  17. Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience in using CMS.
  18. Working knowledge of email marketing software (MailChimp or similar).
  19. Opportunity spotting including identifying new marketing channels/tools.
