Accounts Senior Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for planning and managing the workload of our accounts team, ensuring that monthly targets are met and deadlines are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage the workload of the accounts team
  • Ensure that monthly targets are met and deadlines are adhered to
  • Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Assist management with finalising accounts
  • Train and assist junior members of the team
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 4+ years' experience working in an accountancy practice environment
  • ACA/ACCA qualification or part-qualification
  • Experience using IRIS (preferably)
  • Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and deal with clients confidently
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 (dependent on experience), 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays), and 37 hours per week. Our modern office space features free parking and we provide training and support for the right candidate.
