Audit Partner Designate Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Partner Designate to join our team in Coventry. As a key member of our audit department, you will be responsible for leading a busy audit team and working closely with partners to manage the audit function.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of auditors in the planning and completion of audit engagements for a significant client portfolio.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure clients receive the benefit of all business services.
  • Provide training and development for colleagues and team members.
  • Represent the company at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Use a commercial mindset to strategically drive the audit offering and promote the audit capabilities with other team members.

Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA or FCCA qualified with demonstrable experience leading an Audit team.
  • Technically proficient with close attention to detail.
  • A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in winning new clients.
  • An appetite to proactively grow the business and be involved with the firm's strategic direction.
  • The foresight and confidence to provide proactive advice to clients and discuss opportunities with partners.
  • A strong leader and team player that encourages and motivates others.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to produce work in a timely manner.
  • A strategic, creative and analytical thinker.
