Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Installation Supervisor to join our team at Trant Engineering Limited. As a Mechanical Installation Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of mechanical systems, including pipework, pumps, and steelwork, on various projects across the UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
  • Liaise with design and procurement teams to facilitate the installation process.
  • Communicate plans, programs, and safe systems of work with project stakeholders, ensuring their understanding and compliance.
  • Day-to-day planning, organizing, supervision, and control of mechanical installation works.
  • Scope new works, conduct surveys, and oversee subcontractor works.
  • Supervise direct workforce and work alongside other trades in the utilities industry.

Requirements:

  • Strong commitment to health and safety, ensuring tasks are planned and executed safely and efficiently.
  • Installation background within the water, power, or other heavier industrial sectors.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS certification.
  • JIB Mechanical Pipefitter or equivalent qualification.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Computer Literate.
