Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 1-1 Education Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a 1-1 Education Specialist, you will work with pupils who are persistently absent from school or not in education, providing personalized support to help them reintegrate back into school confidently and ensure they do not fall behind in the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1-1 support in core subjects (English & Maths)
- Plan individualized programs of learning
- Tutor students within the home environment
- Tailor your approach to meet the unique needs and learning pace of each student
Requirements
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent qualifications
- Endless enthusiasm and patience
- Experience working with primary or secondary-aged pupils
- Experience working with children in a tuition capacity (desirable)
- A valid, enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one
