About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores.
  • Encourage clients to engage in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the office team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in on-call duties on a rotational basis to provide additional support to clients.

Requirements

  • Experience in supporting older adults, with a minimum of 1 year required.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driving license.
  • Availability to work every other weekend.
