Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Manager who is eager to thrive in a forward-thinking care environment. This role is essential in managing, developing, and enhancing our Supported Living services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team to ensure that our clients receive outstanding care and support.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop new services aligned with our strategic growth objectives.
- Foster a positive and therapeutic atmosphere while effectively addressing disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, striving for excellence in care delivery.
- Oversee health and safety protocols for both staff and clients, maintaining a secure working environment.
- Advocate for the values and mission of the Connected Living brand.
- Continuously assess and enhance operational processes, leveraging technology to improve service efficiency.
- Recruit and train high-quality support staff, maintaining strong retention rates.
- Assist service users in achieving independence through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Implement and oversee staff training programs to ensure high-quality care services.
- Manage scheduling effectively to guarantee that support workers meet the needs of service users.
- Conduct thorough care assessments and develop care plans that exceed client expectations.
- Utilize technology to operate the business efficiently and maintain communication with clients' families.
- Monitor key performance indicators and report relevant statistics to management.
- Ensure administrative processes comply with regulatory requirements, including medication management and service evaluations.
- Perform additional duties as required to support business growth.
Essential Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or in progress.
- Proven experience in the care industry, particularly in leadership roles and regulatory inspections.
- Valid UK driving license and access to personal transportation.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Domiciliary Care sector.
Skills and Attributes:
- Driven and ambitious, with a commitment to making a positive impact.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying our services and values effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office and adept at report generation and data management.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, willing to participate in an on-call system.
- Highly organized with strong planning and prioritization skills.
- Creative thinker, able to propose and implement improvements within the team.
