As a key player in our daily operations, you will help maintain our reputation as a reliable provider of aviation repair and maintenance services. Collaborate with your colleagues to implement effective processes and practices that enhance flight safety and operational efficiency.

Role Purpose:

We are actively seeking Technicians in various trades to report to their Front-Line Manager and the Production Manager, focusing on the upkeep of aircraft within our Business Unit.

Available trades include:

  • Mechanical Technicians
  • Avionic Technicians
  • Sheet Metal Specialists for detailed part fabrication

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a range of maintenance tasks within trade boundaries and authorizations, adhering to established procedures and approved guidelines.
  • Contribute to the team's achievement of set targets and objectives.
  • Follow current Tool Control protocols.
  • Participate in and contribute to team meetings.
  • Engage in Quality Improvement initiatives and Continuous Quality Improvement assessments.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement to enhance productivity, quality, and lean practices.
  • To ensure maximum flexibility, team members will undergo training and mentor others.
  • Perform work to the highest standards of competence.
  • Be open to undertaking additional duties within the team to support overall output.
  • Promote and adhere to Behavioral Competencies.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures related to foreign object debris control.
  • Mentor and train apprentices as necessary.

  • Thorough understanding and compliance with the Quality Management System.
  • Active participation in continuous improvement efforts.

Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:

Essential - These qualifications are critical for performing the role and will be evaluated during the recruitment process:

  • Recognized apprenticeship or military equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Human Factors.
  • Experience interpreting Drawings and approved source documentation.
  • Familiarity with Military MRP 145 and relevant regulatory standards.

Desirable:

  • Relevant engineering qualification in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Prior experience in independent inspections.
  • Cat B or Certifier authorizations.
  • Previous experience with aircraft.
  • Experience in a Base maintenance setting is advantageous.
