Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Auditor to join our team at TXM Recruit. As a key member of our Compliance and Safety department, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit requirements for external operators, ensuring compliance with our Health and Safety policies.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in auditing or a related field, with a strong understanding of Health and Safety within the transport industry. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to deliver high-quality audit outcomes and manage relationships with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit requirements for external operators
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Health and Safety policies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with audit requirements
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers and clients
  • Plan, organize, and implement audits with suppliers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in auditing or a related field
  • Experience of working in the transport industry
  • Detailed understanding of Health and Safety within the workplace and operations
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage interaction and relationships between external and internal stakeholders

Desirable Qualifications:

  • ISO Internal Auditor or ISO Lead Auditor qualification
  • Proficiency in audit software and tools
