**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Water Regulations Inspector to join our team at Thames Water. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers' plumbing systems meet the required standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Conduct regular inspections of domestic and non-domestic properties to ensure compliance with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999
* Audit approved plumbers to monitor their competency and customer care
* Conduct audits of RPZ valve installations
* Participate in high-risk investigations, such as water quality contamination cases
* Support notifications related to plumbing alterations under Regulation 5 of the Water Fittings Regulations

**Requirements**

* Full UK driving licence
* Proficiency in using company IT systems and office software
* Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and internal processes (advantageous)
* City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in the enforcement of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations (advantageous)
* Relevant industry experience and understanding of the business will be beneficial
