Engineer Surveyor – Cranes & Lifting Equipment

Are you a qualified engineer with expertise in the maintenance, servicing, or inspection of various lifting apparatus or cranes? If so, you may find a rewarding career with a prestigious inspection and certification organization that boasts over a century and a half of industry experience.

Additionally, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from £40.5K to £42.5K, which can increase to £45.5K after one year of service and £50.5K after two years. Other benefits include a 10% contributory pension scheme, an annual bonus, and a £5.5K vehicle allowance.

Engineer Surveyor Package:

Main Responsibilities of the Engineer Surveyor:

  • Conduct inspections and certifications of lifting equipment and cranes
  • Ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Manage client relationships and scheduling within your designated area
  • Maintain strong client connections
  • Provide full technical support as a specialist
  • Operate within established authorities, inspection, and health & safety standards
  • Demonstrate a clear customer focus and a commitment to optimal service delivery

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • HNC or Level 4 qualification or higher in any engineering discipline
  • Practical experience in fixing, inspecting, maintaining, or servicing lifting equipment or cranes
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Strong customer-facing skills
