Admissions Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Admissions Manager to join our team at Spire Healthcare Group plc. As an Admissions Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our admissions process, working closely with our administrative team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the admissions process, ensuring timely and efficient processing of patient bookings and pre-op assessments.
  • Lead and motivate the administrative team, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
  • Develop and implement quality assessments to ensure high standards of patient care and administrative processes.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Shared Services and other senior management to drive operational performance and improve patient outcomes.
  • Ensure all necessary spreadsheets, systems, and processes are updated throughout the working day, providing data as required to support business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of healthcare operations and administrative processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
