About the Role

We are seeking an Accountancy Graduate to join our team at Knights Pharmacy. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Controller in preparing monthly accounts and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are swiftly addressed.
  • Maintain precise purchase and customer ledger accounts, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Accurately post transactions to the correct cost centres, ensuring that all financial data is properly categorised and accounted for.
  • Inspect and summarise NHS income, ensuring all revenue streams are accurately tracked and reported.
  • Summarise, import, and validate over-the-counter sales data, ensuring the integrity of financial records.

Ideal Candidate
  • Honest and Independent: Able to work independently with integrity, but not afraid to ask for help when needed.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail is critical in this role.
  • Deadline-Driven: Comfortable working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excel Proficient: Strong skills in Excel, particularly with Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP functions.
  • Financially Savvy: Ideally has some experience in a finance environment and is technologically savvy.
  • Qualification-Driven: Working towards or holding CIMA qualifications or related exemptions is a plus.
