Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our client's team, a leading Service and Installation business with a strong presence in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers across the South West region, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend customer sites to complete planned preventive maintenance of fire safety systems, respond to emergency call-outs, and perform fault-finding and modification of existing systems.
  • Work efficiently and productively to meet Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for customers in the allocated regional area.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Liaise with the Field Services Manager to proactively feed back on-site issues, non-compliances, and additional work possibilities.
  • Support other departments to complete installation works on time, where required.
  • Collaborate with the QHSE Manager for quality audit purposes, calibration of equipment, and Field audits.
Requirements:
  • FIA Foundation with extensive knowledge of BS5839.
  • Modification of Fire Safety Systems configuration.
  • Customer service focussed.
