As a key member of the senior management team, the Governance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's governance arrangements are efficient and effective in supporting the organization's strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality support to the Board and its Committees, ensuring seamless communication and decision-making.
- Managing shareholder meetings and reporting cycles, coordinating papers and reports to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Maintaining an up-to-date register of interests, ensuring compliance with governing documents and regulations.
- Leading compliance-related tasks, including data protection, freedom of information requests, and competition law.
- Administering the company, including filing necessary documents with regulatory bodies.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Company secretarial and corporate administration experience, gained in professional services or industry.
- Membership of the CGI/ICSA: The Governance Institute or equivalent qualifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Strong technical skills, including Microsoft 365 and governance management systems.
