About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar PV Project Manager to join our team at South East London Community Energy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our solar PV projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement solar PV project plans, including feasibility studies, design, procurement, and installation.
  • Manage and coordinate with solar installers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Oversee the installation of new solar PV systems, ensuring they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor and maintain existing solar PV systems, identifying and addressing any issues or defects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including solar sites, local authorities, and community groups.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to our team and stakeholders on solar PV technologies and best practices.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience in a solar PV design or project management role.
  • Experience with solar PV design software, including OpenSolar.
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of solar PV systems and technologies.
