Job Summary:

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support a Federal Intelligence Agency contract. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining multiple large Enterprise environments, providing Tier II support, and enhancing your skill set among a talented group of colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot application functionality, crashes, and performance issues
  • Investigate user performance and collaborate with external teams to improve user experience
  • Assist customers with Tier 2 incident resolution for Linux and Windows applications
  • Provide remote end-user desktop support
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve system incidents with short-term workarounds and long-term solutions
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders and work well within small and large team environments
  • Participate in special projects as required
  • Meet the minimum qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
    • 8+ years of related systems administration experience
    • TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
    • DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security)

Desirable Skills:

  • Active Directory Administration
  • DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP
  • Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016
  • Application Troubleshooting (Outlook, Excel, Word, JAVA, Internet Explorer)
  • Linux Operating System
  • ServiceNow, NETS, or other ticketing processes
  • ITIL v3 or higher
