Program Manager, Transportation Operations Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager, Transportation Operations Management to join our Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As a key member of our team, you will drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in our organisation.
- Take a big-picture approach in your analysis of business operations, driving improvements across a range of teams and organisations.
- Enhance operational performance on every programme in partnership with your stakeholders.
- Find practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality.
- Set priorities, anticipate risks, and resolve/escalate issues that might impact project timelines.
A Day in the Life
As a Senior Program Manager, you will use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. You will work closely with stakeholders to drive improvements and ensure successful project delivery.
About the Team
Our ATS team plays a central role in Amazon's success, using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology. We capture data and use it to drive decisions, ensuring our transport runs at maximum efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience owning programme strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Relevant experience leading complex projects with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
- Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced or master's degree.
- Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
